The Merced City School District lies in the middle of the agriculturally rich San Joaquin Valley, the most productive agricultural area in the world. Located near the heart of the state, Merced is within a two-hour driving distance of Yosemite National Park and the Pacific beaches. MCSD has 1300 dedicated certificated and classified staff serve 10,800 students on a traditional schedule in 13 K-5 elementary schools, all with state preschool classes, and four 6-8 middle schools.

Exante360 provided security consulting and design services for the new District-wide 130 high-definition network-based video system at Merced City School District. Our scope included a needs assessment, product selection as well as establishing contractor-ready construction documents. These consisted of site & floor plans, installation schematics as well as written specifications that detailed materials, installation means and methods, maintenance, and training requirements as well as all other relevant information to successfully install and own such a system.

Key Highlights

Exante360 assisted the District with the identification and selection of a certified integrator. We also performed construction administration, commissioning and project close-out services.
