The Los Rios Community College District is a special district of 2,400 square miles that provides administrative services and governance for the community colleges American River College, Cosumnes River College, Folsom Lake College and Sacramento City College. The colleges offer more than 70 career fields and the combined enrollment in the district’s four colleges averages 75,000 students.

Exante360 was commissioned to assist the District with their video system originally. Our scope included identifying the various disparate video systems throughout the District and establishing a plan and budget to standardize and centralize under a common video management system. We participated in product selection and performed change management with the different stakeholders. We orchestrated several design iterations to ultimately achieve fully approved construction documents that were suitable for obtaining competitive contractor bids. Construction was successfully completed in 2019.

Key Highlights

Exante360 was also contracted to design a new Storage Area Network (SAN) for the District which required a deep understanding of all aspects of the District’s network. This understanding was achieved through analysis and assessment but also greatly thanks to the commitment of the District’s Facilities and IT groups as well as the perseverance and passion of Exante360’s network designers.
