10 West Walnut
The highly visible 100 West Walnut development project in the heart of Pasadena will add office, residential, and retail spaces for the city. It is one of the largest development projects in Pasadena within recent decades. The project includes a new office building with five floors of Class A office space totaling 233,000 square feet, three levels of subterranean parking, and underground utility make ready work. This office building will sit adjacent to a new mixed-use residential and retail complex.
Exante360 was responsible for providing design and consulting services for all ICT systems throughout the building and parking garage. The systems included structured cabling and technology rooms, Wi-Fi, access control, video surveillance, emergency phones, area of refuge communications, and a distributed antenna system. Coordination with the residential design team was imperative to ensure a seamless operation of all systems.
Ahead of the main project, Exante360 provided design and consulting for an underground utility make ready scope for a neighbor affected by the construction. Existing underground duct banks housing data and voice cables had to be demolished and relocated to accommodate the new construction.
