Overview

Founded in Southern California in 1979 by a husband and wife team who were both teachers, the company expanded rapidly and held its public offering in 1983. It went through various acquisitions and leadership expansions to become the giant distributor of information technology products that it is today. The company ranked 64th in the 2016 Fortune 500. Exante360 is a national Ingram Micro (IM) LINK partner that provides Physical Security Technology Design and Consulting services to IM in-house sales associates, clients, vendors and strategic partners.

Scope

Exante360’s engagement always starts with an introductory call with Ingram’s client in which initial needs and possible solutions are evaluated. Based on the information gathered during the preliminary stages a custom fee proposal is issued to the client for consideration. As all projects are slightly different from one another, upon acceptance of the fee proposal, Exante360 generally proceeds with stakeholder interviews and with in-depth needs assessments. We establish new technology standards for the organization as well as detailed design documents sufficient to be put out to competitive bid by the Owner. We assist with the selection of the installation contractor and we respond to requests for information when they arise. During construction we perform periodic quality checks to ensure alignment with placement and quality specified in the bid documents. At the end of the project we carry out commissioning, punch list and sign-off. We also manage user training and the compilation of record documents.
