The City of Simi Valley is located in the southeast corner of Ventura County, California and 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles. Its population has been estimated at 127,000 and has been growing steadily. It is home to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, where the former president was buried in 2004.
Exante360 team members were selected by the City of Simi Valley via competitive RFP to perform a risk assessment and to design security systems for City facilities and prepare plans / specifications to allow the City to bid the construction. City facilities included City Hall, Police Department, Transit Maintenance, Public Services Center, Cultural Arts Center, Wastewater Treatment and more. Several buildings were equipped with different types of technologies and software. Exante360 established standards, orchestrated manufacturer presentations and selection and created detailed construction documents. The project was put out to bid to identify a certified integrator and is currently under construction.
